"Selection of food was plentiful and delicious. It was nice not worrying about making reservations. I would have liked to be able to take a salad from the buffet to the beach, but it was frowned upon. They do have hamburgs, hot dogs, chicken patties, french fries beachside during lunch. Again, it was very good. Many people bring "YETIs" or large metal drink containers for their drinks since the cups are about 8 oz. We did have dinner off site one night since we enjoy many restaurants on the island. The staff was so pleasant and accomodating. The beach area is large. The palapa reservation is a bit sketchy. We found the staff putting out towels on chairs at 3:30 am!! So when you arrive at the beach it looks as though all palapas are taken. Staff is available to "look" for a palapa. Some areas of the property need updating, but overall the property is beautiful. A bit disappointed in the gym facility. 1 out of 3 treadmills was in service as well as the elliptical. Plenty of free weights, pully area. I did not however, have an issue with access to any of the equipment when accessed at 7am and 4pm. Plenty of entertainment at night, and some skits are completely hysterical. Guests seem to enjoy them. Bingo activity at the pool during the day. Live music throughout the day. I was pleasantly surprised since we usually stay at The Grand Hyatt. "

"Very clean property. Staff (that wasn't front desk) was amazing. Pool staff, wait staff, cleaning crews all top notch. Tips for exceptional service go a long way. If I had one suggestion it would be for the front desk staff, they seemed out of sync with the rest of the property. They didn't have simple answers and could have easily made a few things easier with clarification. I'm being a little nitpicky and clearly it's not enough to lose a star over. We would stay (and will stay) here over and over. Another great Marriot property."

"Sonesta Mobay is great for all groups, however, it was an awesome bestie birthday celebration! The manager and workers made my day feel like it was a holiday. There was a mistake made with my original booking but they upgraded me to the 10th floor. The advantages of 9th and 10th floor are sweet for girl trips! My first time in St. Martin, but it wasn’t my last time and that's because of experience and interactions with staff. Loved it there!"
