"A great hotel, clean and tidy, staff welcoming and friendly. The gym was fairly comprehansive, albeit the machines very old. Nice pool area, with steam room and sauna The food was basic and the burger i had very greasy, but the restaurant was nice. "

"Our 2 days/ nights in Sherwood were very pleasant. Very friendly staff who gave me free parking as the card machine was playing up. I liked the way our was room decorated and it was bigger than Lodge rooms. Had a nice breakfast in the dining area and a swim and sauna. An easy walk into town centre, but there was a constant stream of buses to catch, both ways, if so desired. The only down side to our stay was Ipswich losing to Forest in the FA cup , but thats not down to the hotel, just a poor penalty!"

"Checking in was fast and friendly. The room was great throughout the stay! Lovely interior decor and furnishings. Air con was took a moment to figure out but we got there in the end. Overall it was a pleasurable stay at VOCO and I would recommend it to anyone else thinking of spending a few nights in Leicester , thank you. "

"The hotel was on the University of Nottingham campus. It was a mile from Beeston where my daughter is living. The rooms were excellent, the food was great and the price made it an extremely good value. I would stay here again."
