"We loved our stay at the dog-friendly cabins. The view of the water out the front window of the cabin and the chairs on the front porch made the stay worth it! Wonderfully quiet atmosphere and we enjoyed watching the barges and other boats pass during the day. The lodge and the cabins are beautifully designed. The outdoor pool and hot tub are wonderful. Having a small kitchen with a hot plate was nice and we were able to make some meals, but it was a bit difficult. We didn't end up eating at the restaurant but it seemed like a nice atmosphere with a stunning view. We did enjoy our walk over to the nearby brewery. The trail passing by the front of the cabin is a wonderful walk as well. Everything inside the cabin was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was spacious and clean. My only complaint: I usually love firm mattresses, but these were a bit too much even for me. There is not much nearby, but it is a nice quiet retreat and I would definitely stay again."

"I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the front desk gal but she is so kind! Nice and just a good person. Always a pleasant interaction with her. My fiancé and I are frequent here and she is and has always been nothing but genuinely awesome. Tall long dark hair. Also for the price the rooms are great and stocked and comfortable. "

"Shows is a 2 star hotel. Couldnt be further from the truth. The only thing cheap is the price. But we've stayed at lots of motels and this place is an absolute favorite. Super comfortable beds, ALL amenities.WIFI, Microwave; Fridge. Super clean "
