"We had a lovely stay at this home. The location is very close to downtown and some great places to eat and get coffee. And a nice grocery store nearby. We’d have walked to those except it was 10 degrees out. The craftsmanship in the home is beautiful. You can tell it is a labor of love for the owners. No part of the house has been overlooked. The owners were very helpful when we were in a pinch as well. We would stay again for sure. "

"Jake’s place was perfect for our stay, as it was a relaxing, clean and a nice home. The two floor layout worked especially well for our infant daughter so she had a quiet place to sleep, while we could cook and hang out in the living room. The only suggestion to the host is to install curtains along the picturesque sliding doors for a bit of extra privacy at nighttime."

"I give this rental a five stars overall. The property contact was very responsive. The location so close to the lake is just perfect. Great for a girls weekend away. Only constructive feedback. Is there a couple of things that should be repaired on the property, such as a cracked sink, But nothing that overall affected the functionality of the rental for us. Neighbors were very quiet and we would definitely stay here again."

"Fished the Madison chain while we stayed here. 20 minutes to the ramp. Plenty of places to eat in neighborhood easy gas stops on easy to ramp. Plenty of room to move around in house for the four of us. Driveway and street parking were available for two bass boats and trucks. Electric hook up was great for charging batteries."

We had such a great time and so happy I was able to find this hidden gem in Janesville was more than o could’ve asked for! I’m hoping to make this a tradition!
