"Clean and new apartments. Excellent staff services. Free use of the trekking sticks and bikes in town. Free breakfast daily. However I Would not recommend for small children under age 4 family since our apartment has two beds on the loft with Hugh opening on the railings. This will be a dangerous layout for young children. "

"Highly recommend Andino. Sure, its a bit further up the hill from the main part of town but we loved being in the community up on the hill and close to the mountain. There is a trailhead across the street from it. It is about a 10-minute walk to the main street of town. El Chalten is not that big to begin with so anywhere you stay is a short walk to restaurants and shops. These apartments were well-stocked with amenities -tea, eggs, condiments, etc. The daily breakfast is super generous. We were three people and found we had leftovers every day. The apartment is warm and spacious and nicely decorated for a cozy feel. I would stay here again. "

"I’m very glad I booked this hotel in El Chalten. The location is very central, less than 10min walking to the bus station and easy to get to trailheads and anything else. Very clean room with a comfortable bed. While the decor might be a bit older, the rooms are quite big and you don’t hear any noise from the wind. The breakfast is really great. The staff were super nice and helped arrange transfers for me to different hiking areas, as well as give advice on which days to hike which trails based on the weather. You can borrow a hiking pole if you need from the front desk, or rent some across the street. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed in a cabin and it was nice. We had some bugs and there were some issues with the breakfast, the milk was spoiled and there was a hair in the yogurt. But the staff was excellent and very helpful. "

"We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much! Wonderful staff and ambience! Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. We had a tour that missed picking us up and they called them and made alternate arrangements. Rooms were good size and very clean. Would stay here again!"

"The hosts were very welcoming, eager to help and a great source for local information. The breakfast was average. The mountains around El Chalten are stunning. The town and many businesses don't appear to care about appearances. The national park fee is usurious."
