The property was warm and cosy, great to hunker down despite the lashing rain and powerful wind outside. A short walk gets you to Talisker distillery, the Old Inn and little local convenience store, so yiu have all you need. "We had a great time on Skye, staying at Shore Cottage. It was just what we needed as a group of 3 couples travelling by van. We were able to spread out and relax. the views across the water to Portree and the Old man of Storr, first thing in the morning was fantastic. Well appointed with everything you need, great cooking facilitys and washing machine etc, to catchup with the laundry. A great place for a relaxing stay."

"Htel was clean with a good bar to relax in. Room was clean, warm and the beds were comfortable. The pressure in the shower wasnt very strong. We were in room 28 on the ground floor and the room above had very loud creaking floorboards which kept us awake as theperson in the room was moving about until 2am then up at 6am! Breakfast was good, plenty choice. "

"Building initially looked a little tired however the interior couldn’t be faulted. Very modern, clean and stylish. Comfortable. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate. Only downside was the dinner menu, trying way too hard to be posh. Needs regular food being served "
