"This is a newer hotel. All staff encountered were very pleasant and always asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay perfect. We were only there for weekend but breakfast was great, so many options and all delicious. Rooms were large and bright and comfortable. Lobby area was so welcoming and also comfortable. "It's not the taj mahal, and neither is the price. Very utilitarian for the 5 of us for the nights we stayed. If you are a stay inside family, this is not for that. It's simple, it's clean, pricing is on point. I have stayed in hotels and motels all over the country, and this is the higher end of bargain price quality. We definitely appreciated our stay here, and will be staying again in the future! "

"Brought the family up for a trip to Voyageurs National Park and didn't want to completely break the bank on a room to sleep. The Hilltop was convenient located right on the main drag of IF, check in was super easy, as was check out. Brandy was readily available if needed during our stay although we didn't need anything. The room was as described. They aren't newly renovated or high end, but they serve their purpose, good size, clean, quiet. Definitely worth the price!"
