"Stunning location, clean and modern. Love The Salcombe Gin touch at 5pm! Spa was lovely and treatment was one of the best. Bar & Restaurant is really nice with lovely views. My only ‘minus’ was really the quality of the food was not the best. I had the risotto which was tasteless. "

"Property was conveniently situated about 7 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the city centre. Bed was comfy and the shower was fine. Restaurant served nice vegetarian Indian food"

"Very good stay in a comfortable hotel. Service was great. Couple of things - I felt the dinner menu could be a little more extensive, the check out time of 10 am is a little early. But generally a great stay. Ps I should have mentioned this at check out but the sink plug in room 102 sticks closed 😎"

"Beautiful hotel in the most stunning location. Fantastic for dog walking and miles away from anything. Beautiful views, with access to sea and sand. Lovely food, rooms are great. Sadly didn’t get to use the spa as was fully booked but very quiet in the hotel so not sure how had booked it!"

What makes the 7 stars hotel unique is the architecture of the building adding to its character and history, and would be a great setting for an offbeat film. I disliked the Agatha Christie room immediately, found it creepy iand am still freaked out by the experience, I could not...
