"Amazing hotel in a cathedral"

"At first I was a little worried as building had scaffold outside, But once inside it was a lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. Check in completed quickly. Room was clean and comfortable and no noise from anywhere. 2 minute walk from sea front. Recommended "

"Overall, a bit basic but it was an okay stay for one night in the winter. Mostly just the lack of transparency, as the hotel reception charged triple the amount of the 'additional fee' than what was listed on the Expedia site when booking. Otherwise fine for what you pay - thank you!"

"Great hotel! Spacious, very clean room, comfy large bed. Very good breakfast. Nice gym! Very helpful reception staff. I've contacted them, after my stay, about my receipt and even though Hotels.com made it kind of difficult for us to contact directly, they manage to help me right away. Talking about going the extra mile! Really appreciate it. I will return, for sure, on my next trip in the area. Recommend it!"

"Lovely setting and very well places for lakes and roads to getting around the Friesland. Rooms are a bit tired and the bathrooms need some TLC. Great staff and good facilities. "
