"Loved the facilities, the pool, jacuzzi & steam room. I deducted one star was because the pool was shut for one of the days i stayed & the lodge is totally cashless, though the staff were very understanding that i only had cash on the first day & waited to take the room deposit. Friendly & helpful staff, with a lovely housekeeper who was especially generous with the biscuits & hot chocolate! Would definitely stay again."

"Great fun for the family. Two boys age 5 and 7 really enjoyed the accommodation and parks. Perfect for their age and fun for the adults too. Sadly the accommodation smelt of cigarettes and also a lack of vegan food let the experience down. No options at all which I found really odd and not inclusive. Other family’s and even members of staff agreed that lack of dairy free options was a problem that could be easily sorted."

"My teenage children and I stayed just one night at the Greyfriars Lodge. It has a great, central location and the host, Sanjeewa, was very welcoming and helpful. Beds are very comfy too! Recommend this hotel for a short break. It is in need of some renovation but for a short time it is very acceptable."

"This property was wonderfully convenient to the bus and train stop…I mean within 2-3 minutes. That was so nice. And it was clean and the door locked and we had the things we needed.
