Ski weekend getaway
We had an awesome time staying at this property. My children loved the games and puzzles and I loved the view of the mountain, lake, and wildlife. We could not have been closer to Liberty Mountain. We had easy access to and from the mountain every day. We also LOVED the hot tub. It was a great way to recover from long days skiing. Kari was very responsive and quickly responded to my questions. We will be back next year!

Got exactly what we paid for and weren't disappointed! Beautiful home and so open. Favorite room was the dining room because of the natural light. Just wish there was a full length mirror somewhere on the property to use when getting ready to leave. Would love to stay again sometime and just spend more time at the house! Hot tub was clean and so refreshing.

We stayed at this property on a short ski weekend retreat. It's proximity to Ski Liberty was so convenient and I loved waking up to the beautiful view of the lake from the Sun Room. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Wonderful weekend
We stayed for three nights hoping to get to ski Liberty. Our first night it snowed and it was absolutely beautiful overlooking the lake and the mountain. We had an amazing day at liberty, a literal 3 minute car ride away. It was such a cozy home away from home. Thank you Kari for taking such good care of us!

Reunion Weekend
What a perfect spot to celebrate our 30th reunion from Mt. St. Mary's. Kari's home was perfectly situated between both Gettysburg and our campus in Emmitsburg. There were 7 of us and the home provided plenty of space. The outdoor deck overlooking the lake was a perfect spot for late night reminiscing. We did not have time for television but there seemed to be one in every room. Dining room table was big enough to sit all of us and few friends. There was no time for the hot tub or Kayak's but we will certainly find some during our next visit

My family had a wonderful time fishing and swimming! They didn’t want to go home. My one wish was that the owner warned renters of the steep staircase down to the lake. We were okay with it, but not everyone can handle so many stairs.

This lake house is unique and beautiful. Bedding was lovely, kids enjoyed the games and the house was stocked well. We fished off both docks and used the kayaks to float the lake. The pictures are cute but it is better in person. You are not that remote however with neighbors to the close right and left. They are friendly however. Overall, this is a beautiful property and we are glad to have found it! Thank you host!
