Want to get away in the Rocky Mountains? We have the best kept secret for you. This cabin is only 3 years old and located in the beautiful Valley of the Sun, just north of Fairplay and about 35 minutes south of the Breckenridge ski resort. Full unobstructed views of Sheep Mountain from the deck, surrounded by pine and aspen trees and plenty of wonderful wildlife. Granite in kitchen with hardwood floors and gas stove with breakfast bar. Gas fireplace in living room, log bunk bed, foosball table, and separate living area for the kids to play and watch TV while the adults have a glass of wine by the fireplace. 2 car attached garage with plenty of additional parking in the driveway. Lots of places to hike right from the property and unexpected adventures abound. Wonderful getaway for multiple families where memories will sure to be made. Great secluded cabin
The cabin was great, the only thing is the miles of gravel roads to get to the house were full of potholes and not kept up on. The nearest town is at least 20 minutes away. Other than that, the cabin itself was nice, the hot tub was very enjoyable, and the owners were good with communication.

The cabin was all that is described in the listing! They had all the things we needed for a family of 6 including sleds, warm blankets, nice amenities, and amazing views! My husband and I had a beautiful vacation. The cabin was exactly what we wanted. We were able to see many moose!! It was far enough from the hustle and bustle of things , but close enough if you wanted to get out and about. The cabin is fully equipped with anything you may need!!

Best vacation home we’ve ever stayed in!
This house is amazing! It had everything we’d possibly need and more, it was clean, beds were comfy, and the views were spectacular! Bill was most helpful with any concerns and quick to respond which was nice. It is in the best location too. We drove to Breckenridge,Frisco,and Cañon city and the drives were beautiful and the distance to and from the home wasn’t bad at all. Snowy hideaway
Let me just say, I did not want to go to Colorado for spring break. My son begged and begged and I finally gave in. Giving in was the best decision!!! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous!! The setting was beautiful! The hosts were incredibly kind and checked in on us during the snowstorm. I could not have asked for a better spring break with my family!! It was exactly what we needed! Great Spot but Note the Altitude
We enjoyed the house immensely, but the house is at approximately 11,000 feet. If you're sensitive to altitude, this could be an issue. We live at around 5,200 feet and felt ill for the first day until we acclimated on day 2. Enjoyed the stay but were not aware it was quite this high.

Overall a great experience except for shoveling
Overall everything was as advertised. We had a great time and loved the location. The only complaint we had was that we couldn't get into the driveway without shoveling for an hour. The driveway was clear but the ridge at the end of the driveway where the plow cleaned the road was 3' high and 10' wide. I would think you could have that opened up for your guests when they arrive. Luckily I have 2 sons who could shovel to open up the drive so we could to the house. Other than that I we highly recommend this property.
