"We had a great stay at Sonneneck! We enjoyed the local town of Winterberg and the local area for hiking and site seeing as well. We had an apartment at Sonneneck that was very spacious, comfortable, secure and beautiful. We also had supper at the Sonneneck restaurant and the meal was the best we had in our entire European vacation! Huub and the Sonneneck team were very hospitable and we enjoyed talking with them and having several beers with them while we stayed there. We had such a great time...

Die Küche und der Flur absolut auch sauber und sehr gut gepflegt und gereinigt. Dasselbe gilt auch für das Zimmer. Das Bad neuwertig und mit Föhn, Schminkspiegel, Handtuchheizkörper und Dusche ausgestattet. Alles in allem sehr gut. Würde wieder hier einchecken. "

"We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe. But the low-season price, included breakfast, spa with treatments, and gorgeous area...
