"The hotel is minutes walking distance from the train station and the view down is idyllic itself looking towards the water. The check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful asked us if we would like to book our meal in the restaurant and although we were also told when breakfast was, I liked that everything you’d need to know was also on the key ring to your room. "The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

"Bit of a delay at the Bar as only one bartender and making cocktails, also Temple Spa soap in room not in box (missing!), Nespresso machine 2 faulty capsules maybe due to age other ones worked ok. Generally excellent, lovely room, excellent value, facilities great, just minor areas"
