"We enjoyed our stay here, the home was spacious, awesome balcony with volcano view. Awesomely designed bathrooms, with good shower pressure. "We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Castillo. The terrace had an amazing view of Arenal volcano, and we saw so many birds in the backyard. It was amazing to have coffee in morning and watch clouds roll through valley and listen to birdsong. "Oscar was a great host - the view is amazing and the location to the activities we wanted to do was perfect. The only things I would like to see improved are more places to hang or put your clothes and the main area was not air conditioned so it made it difficult to all hang out in the center area. The pool was great and the outdoor cabana was wonderful."

"We had a most amazing time at gem of a place. We loved company of Mrs Marisel and Anyara. We had breakfast with them everyday. Josh took us for a night frog tour and had amazing knowledge. It was amazing hard work and love he put together in the property. You need a car to get to this place but its worth a try. There is a beautiful private forest behind the house where there are several birds who come during the morning (including at least three tocans), there are also atleast one or two sloths...

"We were immersed into the neighborhood or the local La fortuna residences and close to the town and tour activities. We stayed with our 2 daughters, 10 and 12, while there is no AC, it cools off enough in the evening to be perfectly comfortable. There is a small market near by for basics. The yard is beautifully kept and Zuelema is very communicative when gardeners came to work. There is a river near by that we got to meet some of the locals and play in the water away from the tourist areas....

"This cabin has all the appliances needed. The backyard is full of life; the enourmous toad made me jump, before admiring it! A car is essential to get around. The cabin is not within walking distance from town or activities. It’s a 10 minute drive to anything, which guaranteed our desired quietude.
