Family Beach Weekend

The views are beautiful. A very short walk to the beach. The kitchen was very well supplied. Comfortable, attractive accommodations. We loved Folly Beach. Highly recommended.

Great spot for family gathering

We loved the view of the pond from the kitchen and the variety of egrets, herons, and ducks. It was super convenient that every bedroom had its own bathroom and the hosts were generous with soaps and toiletries, which was much appreciated. We made good use of the ping pong table downstairs, and our only complaint was that the door to the kids’ bathroom (by the bunk room) was missing a part and would not close securely. We informed the hosts but they did not make an attempt to repair it (granted, we were there during the Christmas holiday).great house and we would come back.

Perfect!

We loved our stay here as a family of 10- close to the beach but the backyard pond, fire pit and outdoor furniture were an amazing way to spend our time together when not on the beach. The big window in the kitchen was beautiful! We hope to be back this fall!

Wedding trip

We drove from ND to attend our son's wedding on a cruise ship. The house worked well for us with a great location close to the beach. The house was well stocked, but having to rent a portable crib/playpen was very expensive. The house also could have been cleaner. I spilled water when we got there and when I wiped it up the paper towel was very dirty. I then ran a swiffer over the floor and it was kind of disgusting. I was glad that my grandkids weren't there yet. The house was also hard to find when we arrived in the dark-no markings or address and the back door off the deck was unlocked. Otherwise, the house worked well for us.

Perfection!

We had to most incredible stay in early August of 2022. The location is perfection, the house beautiful and perfectly laid out and situated for our family of 5 kids and 4 adults. We had one small challenge with the outdoor shower and the property management company was prompt and wonderful. We honestly cannot say enough... thank you so much for yet another beautiful week at Folly Beach!

Beautiful Home!

Beautiful home and an extremely gorgeous deck with a beautiful sunset view of Lake Folly! Beds were cozy! Very Clean! Only downside was the small living room area but would love to stay here again! Thank you!!

Three Generations of Fun in the Sun

Everything was excellent. Would book again when we have a group for Folly Beach. Only wish I had known that crook pot was available. Had asked but told it wasn’t. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Not miss matched, it was organized and convenient to have several in kitchen at the same time.

Excellent House

Our family gathered to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. The house was great. Loved the fact that every bedroom had an on suite bathroom. We hired a private chef for his birthday dinner and the kitchen was more than adequate! We really enjoyed the view from the kitchen and the porch. We could hear the ocean and the walk to the beach was easy for our four year old granddaughter. We would not hesitate to rent this property again!

Lake folly a perfect retreat

I stayed here for 20! Days in March and was joined intermittently by my family and best friends in a post COVID pre retirement celebration. We found this home perfect bin almost everyday. We loved the bird sanctuary in out back yard and the beach right next door as well. We will be back

Great location

We loved being across the street from the beach. The house also had really great outdoor space. It was a long walk from downtown but we were able to bike. We had a great stay!

Family stay at Folly Beach

We loved our stay, we had 4 bedrooms, 4 baths close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We had a big yard for great grand and niece to play in and we took long walks on the beach and around the area. We enjoyed our stay at your home, thank you.

Lake Folly early Christmas

This home was perfect for our family of six to spend an early Christmas together. The home was clean and tastefully decorated. We had one minor issue during our stay which was promptly corrected by the local Vacasa staff. I highly recommend this home and the Folly Beach area.

Folly pond side vacation

A party of adults and dogs enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was laid out and provisioned well. The dogs enjoyed the pond area. Adults enjoyed the house, pond, beach, birding and access to Folly and Charleston.

Lake Folly October Stay

Best beach house ever

Our family fell in love with this house. It is the perfect house for adventurous kids. It has a tree house, private fishing pond, double crows nest decks (with ocean views!) and is across the street from a hidden public access to the beach. Our kids preferred staying at the house to touring Charleston. Ha! Impeccably clean. We also appreciated that it had 4 full bathrooms. We will stay here again the next time we visit the area.

Absolutely amazing

We had 6 Charleston first-timers on this trip and loved absolutely every minute of it. Lake Folly was a 2 minute walk to the beach which was a game changer. We loved that was a calmer side of the beach as well. The home was well appointed—beds were comfortable, AC was powerful, and had everything you could possibly need in that stunning chefs kitchen. Thanks for a fantastic time!

Amazing vacation!

This was a perfect getaway for our group as it was a nice private location with plenty of space just a block from the beach. It is an oasis on the beach and as a first time visitor to folly beach this home did not disappoint. Looking forward to planning future trips on lake folly!

Beautiful Home

This newly renovated home is very beautiful inside and out. The backyard view and deck are great while lounging around the house. Plenty of accommodations inside of the house (large laundry machines, kitchen utensils and cookware, grill, tv in every room, towels, etc.) Very short walk to get to the beach, short enough that my 2 yr old could walk it. Outdoor rinse and shower were very nice when coming back from the beach. Would definitely love to come back, plenty of room for multiple families.
