"Absolutely beautiful- wonderful, peaceful place to stay, wish I could stay longer "

"Sanctuary by Sirromet is fantastic! From the moment we checked in till when we left everyone made us fell welcomed. The lady at check in was friendly, funny and helpful. Our “glamping” tent had everything you could want or need and was spotless. We stayed in number 17 down on the lake. So peaceful and relaxing. Parking is easy and close to your accommodation. We walked up to the Cellar Door in the afternoon and took advantage of the wine tasting. We only like white wine and they were delicious. We purchased 6 bottles. There are red wines available also. That night we ate at the Tuscan Terrace restaurant. Such a beautiful setting. The food was incredible and the service excellent. A breakfast hamper is normally delivered to your room between 7:30-8am but as we were leaving between these times the staff on check in organised for us to collect our hamper after dinner that night which was very helpful and convenient. Breakfast was impressive. So much food we couldn’t eat it all - cereal, yoghurt, juice, ham & cheese croissants, and muffins. Not much else to say but definitely stay here if you have the opportunity."

"The apartment hotel is fairly close to the motorway; however, double glazing on the glass doors blocked out all the noise from the motorway. Our apartment was spacious & clean with everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. The bed was a little hard for us; a bamboo topper would easily address that. The apartments are walking distance to Thai Orchid restaurant; the best dining option in the area, in our opinion. Good service, great ambience & delicious food. We also dined at the Chinese restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. We were the only diners. We were very unimpressed with the conduct of one of the male staff who sat in the dining room having a rather heated discussion with a woman in Chinese on speaker. It was very loud & completely ruined our dining experience. He eventually took himself & his phone call out the back door of the restaurant, but should have done so right from the start. We considered his behaviour very rude & unacceptable. The lady who took our orders & served our meals was very pleasant. The seafood meal was very disappointing. The seafood was tough, the vegetables very hard & the sauce tasted like hot water mixed with cornflour. Yuk! Our comments in no way reflect on our opinion of the apartment hotel, as we would happily stay there again, but will never dine at the Chinese restaurant again. There is also an Indian restaurant there, so we will try that next time. "
