"Wayside Inn in Ellicott City, MD is a beautiful 18th century home. The owner / host is great. We stayed on the third floor. Even though it is very close to a freeway, we were not bothered by any noise. The food was delicious. Our group of three had a small separate dining room to ourselves. The home is charming and full of period pieces, but bathrooms have been modernized and the beds were very comfortable. This was much more fun than being in a hotel. Definitely worth checking out. "

"The apartment was spotless. Tastefully decorated. Bedrooms are at the back of the apartment away from street noise. Ten minute walk to the Brookland Metro (and Saturday Farmer's Market). There was always a parking spot on 12th Street and the location made access to other neighborhoods by car or Uber simple. Host was a delight to work with. Immediate responses to questions. And they were pet friendly. Priceless!!"

"We had a wonderful time staying here. The neighborhood is very walkable, the building is beautiful. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. The local restaurants are great, Grubhub for the nights when we just wanted to stay in. The only negative was that the family upstairs sounds like a herd of buffalo, stomping around from 6am to well after 10pm. "

"Our stay was better than I expected. The home was clean and user friendly. The second bed that was listed was actually a blow-up queen mattress but there was plenty of bedding for it. The property was in a nice area with plenty of easy parking on the street. The location gave easy access to the Metro station and downtown DC. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly."
