Frankfort is a small town in Northern Michigan. What used to be a logging town then a ferry port made way for a tight-knit community bustling with activity no matter the season. This town anchors on outdoor activities during the warm months (surfing, sailing, beer festivals) and entertaining indoor activities when it's colder (weekly bar trivia, curling court, and film festivals). It is our home away from home, and we hope you can make it yours.
Getting around Frankfort is a breeze. Drive into town (five mins), bike (10 mins), or walk (thirty mins). It's all accessible with the Bestie River Trail just outside our door. Day-trip to other towns on bike or drive to find easy, free parking wherever the road takes you.
10 things we love about our property:
* Expansive front porch
* Farm animal neighbors on one side; fresh fruit and veggie gardener neighbors (for sale!) on the other side
* 5 work spaces (4 desks, 1 kitchen table)
* Petite apple orchard in the backyard
* Steps across the street to the Bestie Valley walk and bike trail
* 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk to the Frankfort beach
* Close enough to Frankfort’s Main Street but far enough to be secluded
* Multiple cozy areas for reading, writing, working, and relaxing
* Natural treasures to find in every season (summer breeze through the house, black walnut trees turn bright yellow in the fall, cozying up as the snow falls in the winter, and watch the area re-awaken during spring)

So great!
This was the perfect central point for what we needed and where we were going, and the house was perfect. It had tons of space, a huge kitchen, and we loved the farmhouse feel.

What a fantastic home! Our group was made up of adults and college kids- and we all loved the house and pickle”barn”! And the breeze off the bay made sleeping at night very comfortable!
