"What a gem! Fabulous location in the “country” yet walking distance to town. Exception staff and I mean EXCEPTIONAL! Huge spacious well appointed accommodations. Loved the private driver service. Wonderful restaurant and an amazing full breakfast. Some of the furnishings are ready for an update but overall an authentic, idyllic home away from home. (* note: the bikes need servicing). The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great...

The hotel is advertised to include air conditioning. Internet access, wifi, bar fridge. My room had none of these, it also had no TV.
