"We stayed for one night before taking the ferry over to Norway. The place was lovely but the two sofa beds were very firm so it was difficult to get comfortable enough to sleep. There were no trash receptacles so we had to find a plastic bag to use The beach was incredible so because of that we would stay here again. "

"Die schön in der Natur gelegene Unterkunft war gemütlich und sauber, dafür jedoch etwas mehr in die Jahre gekommen, als gedacht. Das Bad ist wirklich extrem klein und niemals für einen Aufenthalt mit 7 Personen geeignet. Für eine 4-köpfige Familie jedoch ausreichend. Toll waren der nahegelegene Spielplatz und der nahe Strandzugang. Die Kids waren vom vorhandenen Spielzeug und Outdoorbeschäftigungen sehr angetan. Spürbarer Minuspunkt: Die Betten waren recht durchgelegen bzw. anderweitig...

"We loved our stay in this log cabin. It was calm, very relaxing and just what we needed. The cabin was fully equiped, clean and comfortable. We lit the log burner each night and just relaxed on the sofa. The area was also great to explore - many walks in the forests or on the beach are are possible. The owner, Cathrin, was very clear, timely, helpful and friendly in her communication with us. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!"

"It was a pleasure to stay in this house for one week. We loved the large garden and the place where the house is located: at the edge of a forest. The house is also located close to the Hulsig train station and the E40. So trips to Skagen are easy to make. The beach is only 800m away. The house is also very close to the ever walking sand dune Rabjerg Mile (app 4 km)"

Decent budget hotel

"The hotel is located 5 minutes drive away from the ferry terminal, which was the reason we booked it in the first place. Our stay was pleasant overall. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but you can get complimentary tea and a decent coffee at reception, but they close at 9pm. Breakfast was average, with one or two hot food options - hard boiled eggs and omelet. Given the same requirements i would stay there again."

"For what I paid and required, this was ideal. The room had a bed, TV, bathroom and towels so basic but travelling alone it was all I needed as a base. Breakfast was very good at the Best Western a 2-minute walk down the street. Train station is very close to the hotel. I went out for some morning runs up the coast out of town from the hotel. "
