"Just returned from a week at the Adina... made our time in Berlin very easy. Central to everything we wanted, we never travelled west of the Brandenburg Tor, and within easy reach of the U bahn if you did need to... We walked a lot...possibly too much for our aging limbs, but it was lovely to be able to come back, put your feet up for an hour or so, and then head out again. "The best thing about this property is the location. It is a 2 minute walk to checkpoint Charlie, which is on a Main Street (Frederick strasse). I picked this so that I could walk out the door, grab breakfast at McDonald’s and then onto the big red bus. It went perfectly. At night it’s a little walk down Frederick Strasse to restaurants. The room was clean and adequate. If I was to make any complaint it would be that the pull out couch was uncomfortable but that’s why a 20 year old slept on it...
