"We were delayed arriving due to issues with the Cedar Island ferry. I called Laura and she made arrangements to leave the porch light on and key in the room. She was so nice to deal with on the phone and the next morning when we checked out. Restaurant recommendations were great for breakfast, The room was renovated, clean and fresh. The entire motel looks like it is undergoing a facelift. I am sure when it is completed it will be very nice. We were pleasantly surprised at this motel....

"The property was beautiful and staff was great. The room was very nice and view of the ocean to die for. The parking was a real issue for us, we got stuck both times we pulled in and out of the property. Hopefully the property owners will invest in something to clear the sand that blows in."

"After a long day of travel from Cedar Island to Ocracoke to Hatteras, this was a beautiful welcome home feeling. The 2 ladies on staff at check-in were so friendly and welcoming! The Suite was beautifully decorated and very clean. This was the best stop on our trip, we can't wait to come back in the summer...we've found our new spot at Hatteras!"
