"Absolutely gorgeous place to stay on the outskirts of Durham. Only a 10 mins drive into the center! The parking is so easy & accessible, great dining options and the staff were SO lovely! The rooms are modern & clean, will definitely be coming here again as it's a great value for money and I absolutely loved staying here!"

"Stayed in a cortyard rooom and for the price was well worth it . Beautiful room with large lounge area and huge bathroom, with roll top bath . The room was beautifully decorated and was pristine . Breakfast was included in the piece and was of high standard . Grounds are imaculafe . Staff were very helpful and friendly , made you feel very welcome .Coupdnt fault it at all . "After a seven hour drive from Skye in wet and stormy conditions, it was wonderful to arrive at Lanehead Old School where Lisa had lit the log burner in the large and comfortable hall and made me feel immediately at ease.
