"Looks shabby on the outside and may not have all the extra, usually unecessary amenities other hotels have (like a gym or pool). But the room was clean and nice, the area is safe, and is EXTREMELY conveniently located. Its about 5 minutes away from the bridge and downtown, 10ish away from Park Royal mall, and theres a nice cafe directly across the street, aswell as a gas station."

"The property is nice and extremely clean and is generally in a good location for tourist activities. The main reason for 4 vs 5 stars is that this one block has vagrants outside the long term stay / rehab facility across the street and around the corner in front of Hotel Canada . Also, the depiction of the exterior and surrounding businesses does not show the true nature of what this block looks like "

"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. Staff is also fantastic. We went to the pool and steam room and sauna and everything was super clean. Location is terrific as it’s a short walk to the harbourfront. I will absolutely stay here again when I visit Vancouver. "
