Perfect Stay Near Yellowstone
Sage Cabin is in an ideal location to explore and immerse yourself in Yellowstone. It's an easy 10 minute drive to the North park entrance. There was wildlife everywhere, some easily viewed from the front porch! The cabin is well appointed and was perfect for my elderly parents, husband, and I. The shower seat, grab bars, etc. helped ensure a safe and anxiety-free trip. Shawn (host) was so sweet, responsive, and helpful. There were so many thought things provided like maps, bear spray (!), games, laundry supplies, etc. We highly recommend and would absolutely return! Thanks for helping make our Yellowstone dream come true!

Wonderful Getaway!
This was a perfect place to stay, just far enough from town to feel private and secluded, but still a quick drive to get to town and to Yellowstone park entrance. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and welcoming; and we loved visiting the horses just outside our door!

Very happy living in such a beautiful cabin for a week
We love this place as well as horses belonging to Shawn. You can see beautiful views in the morning. And you can see wild elks in the afternoon. This is a very quiet cabin, near the town but outside noisy. These days will be our family's forever memory and we will be back someday.

Amazing location, located 5 minutes from the Park entrance!
This location and house was perfect for our 3 adults, one teen and one youth. Plenty of space for everyone and a fully stocked kitchen for our cooking needs. We had a s'mores fire out back and one morning saw Elk roaming through the property. Owners even had bug and bear spray that we could take on our hikes into the park. Definitely would recommend this property and we would stay there again. Shaun was a great host!

Relaxing and Scenic Cabin
This cabin sits a few miles outside of Gardiner, MT and faces beautiful mountains, which makes for an epic view during sunrise. Yellowstone NP north entrance is just a short drive away. This spacious cabin is well decorated, has modern appliances, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, and comfortable furniture. Having stayed at many cabin rentals over the years, I would describe this one as a luxurious cabin when compared to my previous rentals. I will likely stay here again in the future. I highly recommend this rental. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with.

Nice spacious cabin
The cabin is about 4 miles from gardiner, so close enough but out of town. Great staging area for us, owners alerted us for the wildlife, which was hugely helpful. Cabin felt bigger due layout, which was nice.

Exceeded our expectations!
We booked this cabin in January, well before the flooding that took out the access road to North Yellowstone. While our access to Yellowstone Park was made more complicated, there is still private tour access from Gardiner. But more importantly, there is still so much to do and experience in Paradise Valley, outside of the park. Fish or raft the Yellowstone River! Take a bike tour of the valley! Enjoy countless hiking trails! If you are an outdoor enthusiast, this is heaven! The Sage cabin was great for our family. It was very clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the mountains and Yellowstone River. Shawn, the owner, was great at communicating and keeping us informed at every step of the way. We couldn’t recommend this cabin enough. Now that we are home, we are missing it already!

Cozy cabin stay!
Cozy cabin just outside of Gardiner. Easy access to Yellowstone park. Exactly as described. Kitchen had all of the gadgets necessary for cooking with a spacious dining table. Large living space. The highlight is the front porch overlooking the mountains and the floor to ceiling windows with sliding door in the master overlooking the mountains. Beautiful!

Perfect Location!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Sage Cabin. We stayed a week and visited YNP everyday, the north entrance was only 5 minutes away. Very nicely appointed with everything you would need, amazing views every morning, comfy bed and hot shower. We didn't want to leave! You are close to the town but still feel like you are in nature. The cabin was a little hard to find, especially because we were driving at night in the rain with no cell service. Other than that, we had a great time and would love to come back! P.S. Make sure to check out the Tex Mex taco stand right outside the town gas station, so good!!

Great stay & super accommodating host!
I could write a short novel about our stay, but I’ll distill it down to some bulletin points: - Shawn was super helpful with all aspects of our stay and was readily available - The house itself was everything that it was suggested to be in the photos and video - we found the house to be in a super clean condition; I am very picky about cleanliness as well - we found the house to have more useful things than what we planned it to have; bear spray, cooler, various food items, etc. don’t overpack!!! - my girls absolutely love the horses that were right outside the house - there were plenty of towels, cleaning items, etc. - location is easy to find and access Yellowstone National Park, Gardiner, hot springs, etc. - there is a great hike via a NFS trailhead RIGHT behind the house The one thing that my wife and I discussed and debated. That was the location… It is located right on a heavily traveled highway. On one hand, there can be a lot of road noise. On the other, that same road allows super easy access to Gardiner, YNP, hot springs, etc. I think it’s a ‘wash’. Bottom line: I would stay at this house on our next trip- without hesitation.

Enjoyable stay!
The cabin was very nice and has a gorgeous view! It is right next to a main highway, but is secluded by foliage. The appliances are top of the line and the kitchen it amply supplied with everything needed for making meals while visiting. Shawn was very easy to communicate with and we had everything for a comfortable stay. Many many elk around and our daughter enjoyed feeding the horses next door. We even watched a bear cross through the front yard one morning. Extremely close to the hot springs as well. A memorable and happy stay!

Great stay in Gardiner
We spent 5 days in Gardiner with our family of 4. We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the sage cabin the first time but luckily we arived when it was still light out and a person guided us. The sigh for the Sage cabin is a bit north of the sign for the rest of the cabins The house is spotless! I really liked the environmentally friendly supplies! Thank you. The cabin is very close to the highway. The highway was not super busy but enough to discourage us from spending a ton of time on the porch. If you are spending every day in Yellowstone, which is what we did, the driving in/out of the park can get tiring. The cabin was 4mi from the north entrance, but there is still a lot of driving after the park entrance. We saw a lot of elk on our way to the park entrance. The hosts was very thoughtful, warning is about bear activity in the area. Thank you! My 8 year old loved the horses next door! She had a blast and is asking is to go back :)
