"Lone pine is a nice place to stay for a quiet vacation, some extra pool chairs wouldn’t go astray… the room had a very mouldy smell due to humidity and constant air conditioning and they tried to help with a different room but they were all the same - they could try cleaning the air con filters… breaky was good, staff were nice but limited English… they had lots of meetings and a wedding while we were there which was a slight inconvenience but, when you pay for a boutique hotel you expect a bit...

"Under my circumstances the hotel was beautiful. Careful in the sun. I got a little sunburned because of a lack of enough umbrellas. But great place. Prices in bar and restaurants a bit high. "The hotel has a 3 bedroom apartment with 3 bathrooms which is a rare find. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has an amazing view of the ocean. Whilst it has a dining table for 6, there is no kitchenette except for a bar fridge & tea/coffee and kettle in the master bedroom. Downside is that it gets quite noisy at night from the beach bar next door. In addition, the breakfast buffet spread isn't great in terms of choice and taste. Also worth noting that the spa has been closed for years."

"So sorry to say that this Hotel is the worst ever hotel which I have been! The washroom is so dirty with yellow muddy on the bathtub. The wall is lack of maintainenance. The room is uncomfortable for you to stay even more than a minute. I finally escaped the Hotel and found another one in Gurney!"
