"The host spoiled a central part of our trip to South Africa cancelling our stay short term. Expedia did not offer an alternative accommodation. Instead of staying there for ten days we had to book three different places because everything was booked out in the high season. But when we were in the area we had the chance to visit Owl´s In and were happy not to stay there. Watch out when booking this place!"

"4.5 stars. Large golf course estate, very quiet and secure. Lovely 3 bedroom home with swimming pool and views of the course. All the comforts of home. Water pressure is good, and 2 fireplaces (gas) heat the master bedroom and living room (it was quite chilly overnight during our September stay). A lovely hotel with a oul

"I was quite often in Wilderness and looked at this wonderful hotel. Now I‘ve stayed here and I really enjoyed it. There is only one little - point. My bed in room no. 166 is a little bit too short for my length, but I slept really good. Friendly staff, good breakfast and a fair price = good value for the money"

"We enjoyed a lovely one night stay at the Waenhuis Guesthouse. The property and the 2 rooms we booked were beautiful, and quiet and we really enjoyed our breakfast. The staff and management were kind and professional and so welcoming! Thank you to everyone at Waenhuis. "
