"Great room, clean and a reasonable size for the price. Was lovely having the pool and gym free to use downstairs too! Also really convenient to get to the university metro station, just a 5 minute walk away. Just note, the hotel does not use key cards and instead emails you a code at 3pm to check in, so you won’t be able to check in early as it is an automated email!"

"Great location, 20 minutes from Old Town, 10 minutes from Universitate metro, but on a busy road so you may want to keep the windows shut. Fortunately there is efficient air conditioning (controlled by a remote). Clean, comfortable, with a small kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave, kettle). I kept the blinds closed against the heat and the workmen outside, and then found the lighting a little dim. Brighter bulbs and/or a bedside light would be welcome."

"I never got any check in details, despite asking several times via various means of messages. I also asked whether I cld could come slightly earlier. I was told I cld but again no check in details were given. There was no key safe or a reception to pick up a key. In the end I had to book somewhere else. "

"We had some initial issues with Expedia putting this apartment in Old Town when it is not, luckily we managed to upgrade on the way there to one that is. Unfortunately by coincidence our upgrade then suffered a burst pipe so George upgraded us again to the property next door! Both apartments were lovely regardless! Thank you George for all your help, you were invaluable. "

It’ll sometimes drop for no reason, and won’t appear on WiFi for a little while. Secondly, I’m uncertain that they change the door pass code. "As a frequent traveller this was the worst experience anyone can ever imagine. This was an apartment privately hosted. There was no mention of any additional fees upon booking the apartment. when i arrived at the apartment location, I was unable to locate it, i asked the neighbouring shops and they were not aware of the apartment. I contacted the hold on a number of occasions but he did not anwer, after 2 hours he sent a text demanding cleaning charge which was more than the nighly rate of the...

"Sadly the management team was selectively unresponsive in modifying our reservation due to a sudden death in the family. The property was nice, and in a great location, but the Rembrandt front desk has very little authority over Windmill, which appears to be run by managers behind the curtain. I must say the hotels.com team was terrific in trying to help modify our reservation."

"Decent hotel for the price, quick and friendly service. Room was clean and comfy, albeit a bit dated in decor. There is no way to control the temp in the room so every so often hot hair blasts though the vent. At times it was far too warm and it’s mad to not have temp control in 2025. Great hotel, will stay again

"Lovely hotel. And very friendly attentive staff. Comfy and clean, and absolutely nothing to improve on my side. My only “complaint” was that I arrived very late, was jet lagged and hungry, checked into my room, and read the folder provided that said room service as available 24/7, so had a shower, washed my hair first before ordering. Picked up the phone to order around 23:20 to be told it’s no longer available and I would need to use an app such as bolt food to order. This was a little frustrating to me as otherwise I would have ordered earlier. So they should update their folders in the rooms. But other than that? It was a lovely stay! "
