"This was a really nice lakeside property with excellent amenities for a holiday park. Fair warning, this is mostly for RV campers, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. But the staff were very helpful with everything and we loved our stay. Highly recommend if traveling to Lake Tekapo for a couple days or even just one night!"

"Friendly staff, let us check in early, park right outside room, laundry nearby with free detergent, large clean room with fully stocked kitchen. We ate dinner one night at the Hermitage Hotel and preferred this hotel and were glad we didnt pick Hermitage to stay at because this motel felt quieter and more easily accessible. It was the best choice in Mt Cook for us. The only improvement would be that it's a row of motel rooms and some, like ours, had some of the mountain views blocked by other motel rooms. It seemed one row of rooms had unobstructed views of Mt Cook mountains, so I'm not sure how to request one of those rooms, but it would have been an even better stay than our already pretty great stay if i had booked one of those rooms. Highly recommend this motel."
