"Very clean. Staff members were friendly and efficient. We stayed first week of November 2024 to still enjoy Halloween in Salem, so it was a little cold and we loved that the hotel had fire pits in front that you could easily turn on yourself. There’s a cute game and tv room which afforded nice photo opportunity also. It’s outside of the downtown area so you have to take an Uber or walk about 15 min. We did both. The walk wasn’t bad as we loved checking out the architecture and there’s also a nice bakery, breakfast restaurant on the road that we ate at - delicious! Our room was just a regular room, not themed as we thought we’d get but we didn’t mind. It had a fridge and small table which was nice to snack at and for my makeup. The bed was comfortable too. We really enjoyed our time at the Cove. "

"Chose this location to venture into Boston, Salem, Rockport and Gloucester areas on honeymoon. No train but bus or Lyft/Uber to nearest station or into Salem was easy and between $10-$15. Handy to have shops like Target nearby plus various restaurants to eat at. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Large spacious room with fridge and microwave which was helpful. Enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again "

"What a friendly and welcoming group of front desk individuals that made up the TEAM at Springhill Suites in Peabody. Phyllis greeted us (instantly recalling that I had reached out days previous by phone to plan a surprise for my new husband, and she never let on the secret!) Mary greeted us in the morning as we made our way to our complimentary breakfast of freshly made waffles, homefries, eggs, and all the things that make a VACATION BREAKFAST perfect. Mary had gotten information from Phyllis before her, that we were celebrating our wedding and she congratulated us with enthusiasm and joy, with a twinkle in her eyes and a smile that lit up the whole lobby!! The overnight team member, Tom, brought us some luck when I asked him for his lucky number and we were all tickled to win on the roulette wheel with his number when my new hubby and I took the short ride down the road to the casino at Encore. The facility is clean and it SMELLS GOOD everywhere, I don't know how they manage that! Our room was comfortable and modern and we slept like babies. We're already looking forward to our next stay!!"
