Pros: 1. At the beginning, we couldn’t successfully enter the room with the password, but the host communicated promptly via text, and there was always someone available to contact. 2. The hot water was very hot and came quickly. 3. There was a snow pile right next to the house, which made the kids super happy. 4. The restaurants were very close, just a 5–10-minute walk to any nearby eatery. 5. It felt relatively safe and was very quiet. 6. The view from the second floor was amazing, with large windows facing the road. Enjoying coffee while watching the snowy scenery outside was very relaxing. 7. There was a fireplace, but we didn’t have a lighter, so we didn’t use it. It would be great if the owner could leave a box of matches or a lighter in the house. Cons: 1. We stayed on the second floor, and there were two outdoor staircases between the parking spot and the room. We had to be very cautious to avoid slipping. While there were motion-activated lights on the stairs, they were dim, so we needed additional lighting when going out after dark. 2. The room only had one bathroom, and it didn’t have a lock, which felt inconvenient. 3. Most of the power outlets seemed very old, with some even posing potential safety hazards. Many of them were so loose that phone chargers wouldn’t stay plugged in securely. 4. The balcony was covered with thick snow, making it inaccessible. We didn’t use it. 5. Parking was only available on the roadside. Fortunately, there weren’t other

Great location and very spacious (but)
Great rustic look although it needed to be cleaned before we arrived...there were dead flies and moths on the kitchen floor and the garbage cans still had the baggage claim tickets from the previous renter! Stains on the bed sheets was also disturbing... Great for ski bums or college kids just looking for a place to crash when skiing.. Lastly, the parking was not clear if we had a designated spot or if we should park on the street.

You get what you pay for
THE GOOD -great location -good price -clean linens -lots of trash cans all over the place -lots of wood for the stove THE BAD -odd lighting and furniture layout -scratchy towels -fire hazards (electrical cords touching baseboard heat) -un-kept; trashy as soon as you step out the door We had four little kids with us so we spent a lot of time in the unit; this is better suited for couples without kids or bunch of guys who spend more time on the slopes/trails.

Very cute & cozy but so much not working
We would have really loved our stay but the upstairs lights & power didn’t work, kitchen lights and WiFi also did not work. Took til evening of night three for someone to come out. While they did fix the light issue, the WiFi never got fixed. Overall very cozy but they should figure out these issues before renting again.

Good location, enjoyable spot, time to update
We really liked the location of the Chalet. It is a little run down though. The large mattresses (queen and King) are soooooooo hard. Oh my gosh I am too old to sleep on a rock hard futon mattress. All the remotes were missing the backs, the wood burning stove was not accessible because it has been deemed unsafe, which was a big bummer! It was one of the things we were looking forward too. The futon couches are also super hard, my butt feel asleep while watching a movie 😭. The kitchen doesnt look great but was decently stocked with supplies, really nice plates and bowls! The place has charm too though. It felt really clean so kudos to the cleaning crew. Good towels and supplies, cool little niches. The eating areas are cool. Nice views. Not much of an area to actually play in the snow if you have younger kids. My older kids could venture further and play but all the houses are really close to each other right here and it is very steep in the front "yard". Wasn't a huge deal to us but I could see it being a problem for others. It is easy to wall to restaurants, stores and Skibowl though! It is right at the end of the main street. Note to renters: don't be a jerk and bring your dog. My kid stepped in snow covered dog crap on the balcony. There were nasty dog poop land mines all over that porch. 😒 Even with my negative comments we enjoyed ourselves. It was not worth $820 for the weekend though. Too much that needs to be updated.

Good for a General Stay
Basic place that checked all boxes; no frills. There was garbage across the entryway upon arrival (due to animals, I suspect) and the security/walkway lights weren’t working; however, they did fix this for us the next day so no complaints there. Fair value for the price. Not opposed to staying again.

Great location in camp, bad cabin access
Snow covered icey stairs up to cabin after climbing up set of stairs from the highway.. parking on the side of the road was not going to happen since snow was plowed taking up all the room. Had to park across the street and walk all of our gear up ice steps! We tried to shovel the steps, but is was so firm. We shoveled the back deck so we could see out the windows and walk out. Didn't get any feed back but, "make sure you put that shovel back where you found it!"from the person downstairs. The coffee machine had left over grounds in the water tank and in the caraff. I liked the new stove/range and fridge. Pans were gross and unusable. If it wasn't for the great location next to dining and tubing, I would rate thus place lower than 4 stars. We thought the little pillows everywhere were gross and dirty too, just throw them away!

Nice place
The home is very cute, and exactly as described. If you are visiting in the winter when there is snow, please be advised that if you have visitors that have mobility issues, the snow on the steps can be treacherous, and you are on the hook for shoveling the stairs yourself. If you are not willing to do this, this is not the place for you. Many kitchen items are broken but serviceable, and there are many DVDs that are missing from their cases. We had a very good time here, and once my parents were ensconced in the home, it makes the perfect spot to enjoy the area. Was within walking distance to everything we needed, including cosmic tubing. Would definitely stay again.

Nice but no laundry or dishwasher
Nice and big and great location. Some things I didn’t know: no laundry, no dishwasher and parking on the street with about 20 steps up to the house. Knives are not sharp and the can opener is a struggle. Keys are difficult to use in the deadbolt lock. Great deck but the picnic table is weird you’ll bump your legs

Great location
This is a perfect location to Skibowl, hiking, grocery store, and restaurants. We arrived at check in time and the house keeper was still there finishing. He was very friendly though and it wasn’t a bother for us. The whole place was pretty clean. Floors had just been mopped but the kitchen items needed better cleaning. Overall it was great for the location and price.

Poorly outfitted
This is the kind of cabin you want to go to when you have a bunch of skiers and they just want to hang out and they don’t care about furnishings. It’s a ski lodge. The living room area is very poorly arranged and outfitted

Don’t expect to get the basic necessities from this place. They fraudulently advertise a cabin with no internet and they know it’s broken before they take your money. Then when you arrive and ask for internet because the router is in the closet broken. They have no extras and have to special order a basic router arriving a week later. Need to check ski conditions online when vacationing at a ski area. Vacasa does nothing and only comp $100 when we paid $450 a night for 5 days. Even the coffee maker was broken and they wouldn’t fix or replace it. This cabin is a site site compared to all the others. Cheaply put together and dirty plus no maintenance of outside and inside building. Very disappointed. Hope no one else is defrauded by this company. It didn’t break while we were there. Things happen. It was broken before we reserved the room. They have the notes in their files.
