"We are a group of cyclists and appreciated very much the desolation and the authenticity of the environment, and also the castle with the superb vue on the Millau bridge and the Causses. We also liked the size of the castle with plenty of stylish old rooms, and we were lucky that the weather was very good, so we had breakfast and dinner on the swimming pool with a fantastic vue! And it's a splendid region for cycling, certainly for heavy trips!"

"This property lived up to our expectations. it is a quirky yet comfortable place to stay. My husband and I spent a month their at the beginning of Autumn, and were joined by friends for the middle 2 weeks. "First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...

"A wonderful huge property, extremely well equipped including a pool table. The house manager met us (as arranged) and guided up through the facilities of the house. The village of Margon does not have any shops though there are lots at both Pouxelles and Roujon each just 2km away. Margon does have an excellent restaurant. It is also perfectly placed to enjoy lakes and mountains and the coast. Finaly it is only a short drive to the medeival cities of Beziers and Carcassonne."
