"Comfortable room with a well-equipped kitchen for communal use. There is no elevator in this lodging, and all rooms require at least a short climb up steps. Located in a beautiful old neighborhood with a bakery close by. Within an easy walk of the old city. We did not drive so can't comment on parking. "The Josephine room was amazing. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the goal of having a place where we could hunker down and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk into town and the Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even head into the hills for a hike which we took advantage of on a couple occasions. "The property is very quaint and in the pedestrianised part of the old town, which is lovely and handy for an evening stroll. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a little bit of a challenge with a baby and pram/luggage (no lift, so beware when booking). The apartment was clean but a bit "unfinished" looking with some raw edges to the kitchenette counters and a very exposed water tank in the bathroom. "Myself, my husband and my 3 children stayed for one night on the way down to the south coast. It was lovely, with a lovely pool. The room was nice and comfortable and spacious and the hospitality was lovely. "
