"We booked the Victorian room for Saturday night stay at short notice just a short time before we arrived. We was immediately sent a welcoming text message with details of where to park and when our earliest check in would be The Host, Iain greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. "Kevin was the perfect host very friendly and helpful - the breakfast was amazing for 5 pounds - public car park opposite secure and convenient - the bathroom was basic but acceptable for my needs - the room was well furnished had a fridge and microwave and perfectly clean - overall a very good value property I would stay again 👍"

"This was a beautiful period property decorated in a modern style. The furniture was lovely and the bed comfy. The shower was more than adequate and the fridge and hot drink making facilities were appreciated. Very clean. Gorgeous location overlooking the loch. Cafes serving breakfast were very close and the town was full of pubs and restaurants. We loved our stay here!"

"The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. "

"Lovely family run B&B, the veggie breakfasts are nice, the rooms are comfortable, we loved the electric fire as it was a cold few days. Great location in the centre of the village next to shops and we had some meals from the chippy just down the road. Free parking on-site. "

"Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure "
