Had dinner at the jade river restaurant and tried the tasting menu and wasn’t too impressed. staff needed to be told to change the plates. very friendly but need to be more attentive. comparing with the fine dinner I had at the Grand Hyatt, jade river’s food and service and way way behind"

The subway is not to far but you need to cross the big road to use the escalator. If you have big luggages, this might be a problem. "

"The hotel is very nice, despite of being an old hotel, its very well maintained. Staff super helpfull!! The advantage of this hotel is being 10 min walk from Canton fair, otherwise, there is nothing to do around here, there are not many dining options except for the hotel restaurants, which are very good by the way Breakfast was excellent very close to the metro, so you can visit city center easily for dinning or shopping but it takes some 30 minutes to get there"
