"We had a very good experience staying here. Read the clear instructions you get over email to understand options available to reach the place. There are taxis available and also hava bus(airport buses) which has a stop just 10 minutes walk away from hotel. Hotel guys informed us about all this and it was really very helpful to take domestic flights for us to cappadocia. "I honestly didn't like it at all. I was expecting more considering the price which was high in comparaison with a nearby 5-star hotel...very small. Even though I booked a suite. Also, it was not clean...the suite had a bad smell, we had to keep windows open. Not a very good location. The only good thing is the staff working in the reception (All of them)...They were very helpful and nice people."

"I booked room witn fully furnished balcony with Seaview but when I checked in I was given a room with no Seaview. It was very disappointing. I showed my booking at reception and after long try they changed my room with partial Seaview. Please make sure you get the room you booked. Pros. staff is very helpful and friendly location is awesome room is very big and clean room has all the facilities Cons please take toiletries with you. no toiletries location is uphill "

Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel

Gorgeous Hotel!

"The Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel is a very elegant and grand hotel. The decor in the hotel is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was comfy, and the decor was amazing! We were greeted by Ege who showed us around and accompanied us to our room. The front desk staff were also very accommodating, and the concierge was very helpful as well. Unfortunately, our breakfast at the Jiggers kitchen and bar restaurant was less than appetizing. My omelette had so much cheese on it, I could barely see the eggs. My boyfriend’s croissant had so much garlic on it that you could barely taste the eggs. After experiencing this breakfast, we declined to try the pricey buffet. The restaurant staff were friendly with the exception of one gentleman who was not very friendly at dinner one evening. Everyone else was very kind and helpful. Overall, this is an amazing hotel with great amenities. I didn’t find very many restaurants I liked within walking distance but there are some great restaurants on the famous Bagdat Street which is a short taxi ride away. If you want to stay in a beautiful hotel with gorgeous, spacious rooms, this is the place to be when visiting the Asian side of Istanbul. "

"This is a beautiful hotel that seems to have been renovated recently as it is in excellent condition. My room and bathroom were beautifully appointed. The dining and reception area are scenic with excellent service. I also enjoyed the gym and spa. "

Shocking quality for the price

"I stayed here for more than a week because it is so comfortable. It is the best value in the area, and very stylishly renovated. It has kitchenettes, a safe, mini fridge, dishwasher, writing desk, coffee table, TV with 2 channels in English (BBC, Al Jazeera news), bidet, exposed brick, large openable windows (or fabulous patio, I stayed in two different rooms)."

"All the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. A special shout out to Adem, always smiling and ready to help. The breakfast was basic but suitable to get your day started. Bedrooms are nice and spacious and clean and the bathroom was the same. Would definitely recommend considering the price."
