"Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Quiet area but short drive to lots of lovely places. Breakfast had a good choice. Like a lot of buffets the food could have been hotter. We managed to use the pool and hot tub on 2 occasions, you just have to keep checking for a quiet time. The pool area around the hot tub has some signs of slight mould. Jack who served in the bar and restaurant was lovely, he really couldn’t do enough for you and was constantly checking with guests if they needed anything. Malcom less so...

"Pleasant helpful staff, at check in and breakfast. We did not have an evening meal. We booked a sea view double room. The view was the highlight for us. The room was a good size, with a decent bathroom. An electric shower, so not as powerful as a rainfall shower. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water provided- with the largest mugs we’ve ever had in a hotel room.A good selection of cooked breakfast choices along with cereal and juices that you helped yourself to. "Nice modern hotel with excellent rooms: mine had a spectacular view out to sea. I was pleased to discover that the hotel was quiet although busy. The staff were very pleasant and attended in a professional manner. The food, unfortunately, I thought was disappointing although very keenly priced. Food service was lacking a bit of professionalism. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would return."

"Great for a one night stay but be warned. You have to pay £10 to park your car overnight although I got mine for free due to my Hotels.com membership. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a Mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and the towels were nice and fluffy (some things you don’t always get). Only complaint was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom was rusty and I couldn’t work out how to turn it on. Would definitely recommend "

While the occasion was a sad one due to a family bereavement, every single member of staff made the pain less, professional and sensitive service, attention to detail and an empathetic attitude, simply superb. "We had a fabulous time at the Bridges B&B. Lesley was the perfect host, so friendly and helpful we immediately felt it was home from home.
