"It doesn’t get any closer to the ocean. Roaring surf, abundant sea life, beautiful sunsets and ready access to beaches. The unit is small, well-appointed and very clean. "Nice condo with everything you need. We stayed for three nights after extending our stay on Kauai. The views of the ocean are spectacular. There is the highway very close to this condo but the noise is minimal.The bed was very comfortable and opening the balcony door allows for a nice breeze through the condo.Walkable to the town of Kaapa and the Coconut Grove shopping center. The airport is a short drive also."

"We were welcomed with such graciousness: beautiful leis and cold ginger lemon drinks and refreshing towels and then escorted personally to our spacious and artistically decorated condo. Our first night at Timbers was magical with palm trees, flowering tropical plants and lighted tiki torches. Everything is first class: the food, the service, the beautiful surroundings. "

"My family loved this condo. It had everything we needed to go to the beach (towels, beach chairs, even reef-safe sunblock). We did not use the pool but it looked nice.Loved that it was a short walk to a small mall that had nice restaurants and coffee.Absolutely love the surfboard mosaics. "The outrigger hotel is located in an ideal location to many outdoor activities and airport. The hotel is well kept, clean, nice pools for families, and walking distance to the beach. The room was a bit outdated, drawers stuck, back door was difficult to lo lock and shutters stiff and noisy. Note to renter- bring all toiletries, coffee/filters, and there is only cleaning service if you pay for it. You also have to remove all trash regularly. No microwave available. "Had a great time. Only downside was that the kitchen/dining room/family room is not air conditioned. That was not explained in The description. Host had beach equipment and access to a club. Very nice. "

"The location of the condo is simply amazing. Watching from the comfort of our deck, the whales, dolphins, turtles and P20 the monk seal are experiences of a lifetime. The icing on the cake was meeting Walt and Joy. They truly are the most gracious hosts. Thank you for everything and we will see you again in 2 years. "

Staff is extremely polite, we were welcomed by Angela. Overall we loved it! Highly recommended for families with kids. Also the Coconut market is just a 2 min short walk. Very convenient."

"Absolutely beautiful grounds and the view from the porch was amazing! Restaurant on-site is wonderful! The plumbing over the tub for the shower looks daunting at first, but honestly it functions better and is better kept up than most newer hotels I have been in the last several years. Maintenance personnel is very quick to respond to polite requests for service! When we had a GFCI trip, they came out and checked EVERY outlet and so on, so when I returned there was a new GFCI outlet and everything worked again! The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook the food we purchased at the local Big Save when we didn't feel like venturing out. I could go on. This was an excellent, peaceful stay and I would rebook in a heartbeat!"

"Amazing relaxing resort! The service was great from everyone working there. We were even greeted with a box of chocolates. There were many free daily activities, as well as a restaurant and beach in walking distance. It’s also a 5 minute drive to Poipu Beach if you want to see some monk seals and turtles that come up to shore. Overall we had a great experience and would come back again."
