"I loved the oak trees and the birds. Our site had an amazing view of the ocean as we were on the 3rd floor. We saw humpback whales, dolphins, pelicans, terns, grebes, and more. We appreciated our time there and intend to return."

"House was cleanly, lovely quiet neighborhood. Vrbo provided a number for any assistance we might have needed. They were very responsive and helpful. The house is as pictured it was beautiful and well maintained. There were stains on the carpet but that is to be expected when allowing pets😊 overall a great experience for my four children, our dog, my husband and myself. "

"The house was very clean and had a lot to offer in the way of amenities. It was too cold to go into the ocean at that time, but the hot tub was available, and the pool could be used too if the heater is requested. Enjoyed using the propane fire pit several times, and there is a great view of the surrounding area from the highest vantage point on the deck. This is definitely a place that I would not mind returning to."

"This was an excellent find for a relaxed, one week getaway to the OBX for me and my medium-sized dog. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood very close to the sound so we had wonderful sunset walks along a multi-use path. It was very convenient to go to Jockey's Ridge State Park, Nags Head Woods, or the Wright Brothers Memorial for a few hours of adventure with the dog and then come back for a little downtime at the beach. "Great value for our stay. Split level (3) house with 2 full bedrooms and multiple sofabeds in 2 other open areas. New air conditioning/heater wall units. Good LED TVs and Spectrum internet. Good location within 100 yards of Nags Head beach access. Within walking distance of Jeannette's pier. In addition to our own toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags (as stated in their description), we bought our own dish soap, bath soap, and dobie pads for dishwashing. Liquid soap provided was so-so....

"My friends and I stayed at the starfish retreat this past weekend. It was nice but we were not given any trash bags so we had to use food lion bags to throw our trash away. The hot tub was a bit dirty and we wish they had a few essential items that are normally needed when you stay at a beach house for a few days. The location was fine and close to the beach and the house was nicely decorated."

"Loved the property and all amenities! The coupon for the free bagels was SO awesome. The dishes were a little grimy all week b/c of the dishwasher, but everything else was more than we could hope for. Thank you for providing a great experience for our family."

"We checked in on Thursday, September 26; called that night to report 2 tvs not working (and it wasn't wifi), texted about the tvs again on the 27th...never heard from anyone about the tvs. One toilet would not flush, someone finally came about 13 hours before check out.
