"Property was a bitt hard to find in the dark since there is no sign that says "The Hillsboro"- you have to look for a very tiny orange sign that has the address number on it and the driveway is almost hidden. Once there, though, the staff was great, the hotel was clean and looked freshly renovated, and the room was clean. My one suggestion would be too better weather-seal the rooms since the tile floors were slick with condensation from the humidity of the day."

"During our visit the pool was opened but did not have enough water ( I believe ) for it to run through filters, so the water was cold, and did not appear to be running through pumps at all. "Our first time in FLD and we wanted a beach and pool. Hotel was great and staff very pleasant. The beds and pillows were amazing and housekeeping was on task for sure!! The hotel was under construction on a few floors, and honestly, we were on the 6th floor didnt hear a thing. But have a great seaside bar with food, which was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel. Can do taco Tuesday. $10 for two tacos and $10 house margaritas. Also have the Water Taxi that stops there if you want to catch a ride on that."
