"At the age of 64, this was my first hostel experience and it couldn't have been more positive! Bed was very comfortable, place was really clean, staff was amazing and lodgers were very friendly. "

"A very unique property, with a mish-mash of quirky rooms and buildings combined to make a hostel. The price is great for what you get. No concerns with cleanliness or bugs (it IS a humid environment, in the South, so I was expecting at least one or two roaches or lizards, but there were none, even outside in the courtyard/common areas). The only issue we had was our lightbulb went out one evening. The staff didn't tell us that we'd have to be present for the maintenance guy to come replace it....

"Very clear on the rules, helpful and friendly. No food allowed in bedrooms, but plenty of storage in the kitchen. Very clean. Mopped and wiped down everything daily. Enjoyed happy hour and Uno. Breakfast was nice also."
