"Beautifully presented in a cottage style. We were greeted with a bottle of delightful Rose and fresh muffins. The owners were friendly and welcoming and took us on a farm excursion to a scenic outlook of the Waimarama Valley. Our grandson really enjoyed his first farm experience on the off road farm vehicle, friendly farm dogs and chooks. Thank you for a really memorable stay. One possible improvement could be a small clothesline on the side of the cottage for towels and such like."

"Great location handy to both Havelock Nth and Hastings. Plenty of space for 2 couples with nice lounge, separate dining room and well equipped kitchen. Ensuite bathroom is very small and shelf space in bathroom and shower absent. Biggest issue is road noise..pity place not double glazed."

"Fig cottage is such an appropriate name. You are living in a delightful cottage on the edge of their garden which is just full of an array of plants. Location was close to everything with our car. The addition of homemade jam and fresh fruit made a wonderful addition to our simple breakfasts.The cottage has everything you could possibly want and a lovely porch to sit on at the end of the day. "
