"It is a very short walk to the beach and you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the smooth sand. Located north of the main Orewa shopping area it is still an easy walk to the restaurants. We were upstairs and had glimpses of the sea and the gently breaking waves. We would stay there again."

"Very tidy, the room contained everything you need to be self sufficient. Nice and sunny, good shower pressure. Very close to Massey University Albany campus which was the purpose of my stay. "

"I really was taken by the receptionist, who welcomed me, made me feel at home and went out of her way to upgrade my accommodation. "

"Check in was fast & the receptionist was friendly. The shower pressure was awesome, just be careful of the hot water heat. The room was clean & tidy & I didn't hear any noise from other guests (although I think there was only 1 other staying at the time). Convenient location. The bed was too hard."

"Tv wouldn't work. I went to reception, she changed the batteries around, but never came and checked. I was very tired and couldn't be bothered going back to her yet again. So, no TV. And the room smelled. The sheets were clean, if it wasn't for this I would have just gone and stayed somewhere else. "

"Great location, although next to a main road was quiet. One Brm unit: Only downside was the shower and having to step up and into not good for health and safety and for older customers. Overall was a comfortable clean motel unit very spacious and had all that we needed would recommend."

"Something to watch out for here, in the small print on a4 page in room is a note saying $30 charge if you don't do your dishes. This worries me as how do i know that last person did the dishes hygienically and didn't just rise and put away. 1st time i have seen this sort of note and fee.. "
