The person checking in before us had a problem so it meant we had to wait a while to check in - which is fine, these things happen, but it would have been nice if the member of staff had apologised for our wait when it got to our turn. "This is an old hotel, which does need some tlc, however, the receptionist told me the rooms are nearly finished a refurb and whats been done so far is lovely. Our executive double was large, warm and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was served fresh, hot and good quality. Great location. Shame its £9 a night to park but as the accommodation is so reasonable we didnt mind. Much better than many other sheffield hotels."
