"Third time staying here and as ever it was fantastic. Requested a room nearer the pub ad my husband has walking difficulties and got our favourite Room 1. Wonderful meal the beef cheeks were excellent. Superb service from every member of staff. Our only criticism which i have fed back directly is we dont like the milk sachets used on the drinks tray in bedroom does not match the standard of the bedroom would prefer fresh milk perhaps in a small flask"

"Really friendly staff, our waitress,Jaz, was the best! The room was fantastic, super clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The deep soaking bath was really great and there were enough toiletries to last for much longer than our stay. "Hotel could be really lovely if it had a slight revamp. Our bedroom smelled of damp, but we think that may just of been down the old building and old windows which had mould on the inside. "Lovely hotel, staff and the rooms are decorated very well. Only downfall was the breakfast…the restaurant when I came down at 8:30am was a mess, barely a clean table, almost every table had plates with left over food…. The breakfast itself I am sure was precious days food warmed up. This is shame as I’ve had lunch there before and it was really good…. Perhaps there was a staffing issue, I don’t know.
