"We had a fantastic experience at Bushbaby River Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Communication with the staff was seamless, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged even before our arrival. The breakfast options were delightful, offering a variety of choices such as waffles, pancakes, French toast, and a classic English breakfast—something for everyone to enjoy. The heat pump/air conditioner worked flawlessly, making our stay comfortable regardless of the temperature outside. The facilities were spotless, with warm water readily available and a refreshing pool to relax in. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport, the lodge is also surrounded by wildlife, offering a serene and immersive experience. For those interested, the staff can help arrange game drives, making it easy to explore the incredible nature and wildlife in the area. Overall, Bushbaby River Lodge is a gem that combines comfort, convenience, and a touch of the wild. We look forward to returning!"

"Two double bedrooms, kitchen fridge etc. Also lounge/ dining/hallway. One bathroom/ toilet. Very good shower. Small outdoor space, upper floor studio/ bedroom/ outdoor patio area, though unfurnished. Good off road parking. Secure, passcode to enter. All clean, 2/3* level. Good air con in bedrooms. We only used as base for 3 nights as out exploring. Would recommend. Think there’s a pool, though we didn’t explore. Very secure. The gate code was a bit iffy sometimes. All in all, would definitely stay again, and would recommend. "

"Not value for money. Dinner was tasteless. Disturbing was to catch a worker at 07:30 the next morning hiding under our tent while we were bathing. The wooden floor has clear gaps to look through. When confronted he said he was there to fix a problem. Complained to the manager and she only replied "Sorry for that". No investigation or request to identify the worker. Internet is non-existent and lights are inadequate in the tent. "

"Amazing stay - have stayed in the Wildlife estates several times and this was the best viewing of wildlife I have seen. Amazing to drink coffee and watch the Kudu, Nyala and warthogs. Rooms are great, love the outdoor shower and the hosts are so friendly and kind. "

"I stayed here twice, both before and after a safari in Sabi Sands. The owner and staff are all very nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. There is air conditioning that worked well on the one day I needed it. Breakfast is very good with excellent coffee. The inn is a bit far from town and the airport (not sure about options closer in) which is a bit of a problem without a car. The owner and staff are happy to arrange transport to/from the airport (make sure to inform in advance of arrival time) and town for a fee. This is not a problem for a one night stay but could become inconvenient if staying longer. "
