"The pictures don’t do this place justice. The views are stunning. The house is huge and has everything you would ever need."

"We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him."

"We stayed two weeks at this property and very much enjoyed it. The cottage is near the Belfast rail trail and we walked on this every day. We liked that the location felt very private yet it was only about a mile walk on the rail trail to Belfast harbor. The other great thing about this property is proximity to the Passagassawakeag River. It's just at the backside of the property and the owners have a very nice dock that was available for our use. The cottage had everything we needed and was...

"The house was at a great location, near Belfast and not too far from Camden/Rockland. Good for kids. The house was very large and old-style classic. The porch was huge and great, old school. The property was very nice, access to rocky shore was good, but with a lot of steps. The plumbing was old but clean and the lighting was also old. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook and more. The host was very good and responsive, we had no problems and had a nice stay"

"My family stayed at the Cottage for a few nights to explore Acadia/Bar Harbor. We are so glad we stayed outside of the downtown area, this quiet getaway is the perfect escape from the busy nearby attractions. It is well equipped and Emily was a wonderful host. I would not hesitate to stay here again."
