"We always love going sprowston manor as we married their 20 years ago so for us its the meaning behind the visit. The staff are always amazing but the hotel rooms are tatty and in need of a revamp. Pillows are lumpy and mattess toppers stained. Its the little things like do not desturn signs, having 2 pillows each which are just not there anymore. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. Unfortunately the hotel had a big black tie dinner on the night I stayed and therefore the kitchen closed earlier than I could get there so was unable to order food. "Pub is lovely, great atmosphere, outdoor winter seating was cosy and a real selling point. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. It could have done with a more powerful shower. Slightly disappointed as didn't realise we would be staying away from the pub.
