"Loved the place but the room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and not only was there no elevator but the stair case was very narrow and difficult to bring the luggage up. We still loved it and understand the way it is looks better so it’s not a con, just think it’s good to know, specially for people traveling with small children like we did. "

But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. The coat rack fell out of the wall, there was a missing magnifying mirror in the bathroom (just a post coming out of the wall with nothing attached). I was hoping for better for the price and the...

"Beautiful hotel, room and staff in a wonderful town."

"Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "

"Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters). "

"Loved our stay here. Just the nicest most accommodating people. Early check in, took our luggage upstairs for us, self service wine, soft drinks and snacks in the evening, lovely cafe. Quick walk over the bridge into town. "
